There are two Categories of Businesses interested in Processing Scrap:
The Steel manufacturers who use the scrap as a feedstock to make steel (Nowadays most steel manufacturers are using scrap in varying percentages as feedstock)
- The scrap traders who want to add value to the ecosystem.
- The points are common for both organizations, but the perspective is different. Steel manufacturers have to take data points from their own melting furnaces and manufacturing units, while traders have to take data points from their customers and understand their customer's requirements for processed scrap.
During scrap processing, we change the size and density of the scrap using equipment like Metal Shredder Machines or scrap shredding machines. There are various processes for doing this, and there are various machines on the market to carry out those processes.
